Swami Vivekananda State Police Academy is committed for personifying a Police force which will uphold the law and the rights of all people for a safe and secure environment, conducive to their internal and external growth and development, by emphasizing on competencies and excellence in police training. The Academy is dedicated to present the society a service-oriented police force by inculcating required knowledge, desired skills, appropriate attitude and adopting the modern methods in policing work.

MISSION

Swami Vivekananda State Police Academy always endeavors to train officers and men of West Bengal Police enabling them to perform their duties with integrity, competence, and the highest standards of professionalism. To serve the people better the Academy always inculcates such values and norms among trainees. The Academy also focuses on the physical fitness, mental alertness, emotional intelligence and sensitivity of the police trainees which serve as aspirations of people in a fast-changing social and economic environment of the country. The training endeavors to build up a sense of strong Police-Public bond in order to encourage community participation in law enforcement in society.
